The Sting of the Cane

In the opening scene – Sophie is standing completely in the nude, with her hands on her head.

Then the scene changes and she is leaning over a table. A cane is making contact with her poor bottom. As it is on the upward arc – it leaves behind a raised blue / white weal across her tender cheeks.

Some good camera shots show her face as the cane strikes her quivering bottom; she screws up her face, clenches her teeth and her fingers furl and unfurl.

For the final scene – she is once again standing with her hands on her head, but occasionally rubbing at her well caned very sore bottom.

She has certainly felt the sting of the cane.
