=^,,^= | Is there such a thing as "Blood Lust"? I'm referring to people who live to kill. They enjoy it as one would enjoy sex and kill as many and as often as they can. I've never known of such a person in real life, I've only read about people like this in comic books. But, does this type of mental illness really exist? | | Oh most definatly. Many serial killers throughout history were like this. Especially those who killed for cannabilism or to drink blood. There are a ton of true crime books on this subject you can find that will explain all of this in great detail. | Who has a lust for Harry Potter? i do!? any one know sites with funny harry potter drawings, or comics? i've only found great one's on deviant art:

Check them out (but please feed my lust for h-piddy) | Personally, I don't lust after fictional characters (like Harry Potter or Edward Cullen).
But, Harry Potter is an AWESOME character (unlike a certain vampire that I know about).
By the way, those ARE good drawings...
~Zara Sahana | Are Porn Comics unchristian? Thanks for all the answers guys-
as you might know, I've posted many questions on this topic. Most people tell me it's wrong because you're not keeping your body clean, but why?
- You can't lust for a non-existent person
- If you don't masturbate and it doesn't lead you to do unchristian stuff such as fornication raping etc then what's wrong?
I will give the best answer to the person with the most detail.
Thanx | | Yes, it is wrong. We are not to give ourselves over to ANY lust. While it is natural to feel attraction, and for a husband and wife to be sexually intimate is ok, in any other context we should have enough respect for our bodies AND our minds, to keep ourselves pure. | Love or lust for you? what makes love so different from lust? i know couples that who act and do the same things my bf and i do, but we're in love and they break up within weeks, and is it because i only want him or that i love all his quirks and his personality or how he's a batman comic book nerd or smells great because sometimes i get mad it can all be explained biologically, and of course everything psychological is biological but still, i like to think my love for him which teeters on obsession is unique. This is rather immature post of me, oh well. late teens, people. let me enjoy it.
now there was a question somewhere before my rant, oh, what is love to you? | Love is difficult to explain. It's just a connection or spark that you feel for a person... and that "spark" makes you love every little thing about them and truly care about them. It's what my husband and I have.
But... my husband and I have also talked about this. We know many other couples who have relationships similar to ours, but we can tell they are not in love just by certain things they do or say. In my opinion, these couples may just THINK they are in love... and, if you've never truly experienced love, then you're going to assume that you might be in love with certain people. When you truly experience love, then you know that the relationships that you've had in the past were NOT really love. | Two-Face vs. Black Mask. Who wins? From Batman comics.? Both are blood lusted, so Two-Face leaves his coin aside and does not bring it into battle. Neither combatant shows any mercy whatsoever. | Two-Face NEVER leaves his coin, so he could be merciful 50%.
That makes Black Mask one step ahead. | Is watching porn whilst masturbating unchristian? Or is just one of these things unchristian? I have read most comments on masturbating, which say things like 'keep Jesus in the Church and out of the bedroom', which isn't very helpful! Most say it's okay, but I went onto a site that said it was wrong. About porn, most people say it's wrong for Christians- why? because you're lusting the people? Then what is lust? Is it wrong to look at porn comics- I just don't know! I would greatly appreciate well thought out answers. Thanks! | It's good you want to find out what's right.
While I have seen differing views on this, many more Christians have said that self-gratification is wrong that not. It's not staying pure, since sex as a gift to share with one's spouse in the confines of marriage.
Pornography, on the other hand, is much more clear-cut.
I can't think of any Christian that would tell you that it's okay.
Jesus said the following:
Mt. 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. (KJV) I can't really define lust right now, but I think that if you're looking at a woman's body (not your wife's) with "sexual desire" (as the dictionary defines lust), then it's wrong. Pornography is a drug, and like all other drugs it becomes addictive. Even worse, it can sometimes lead to more serious things. Another reason to avaoid porn is if you marry, the images you have in your mind (that never go away) may compete with your wife and make you look on her as inferior. I hope that you do what is right. By the way, what do you mean by "porn comics?" If it is sexually arousing, even if it's not specifically stated in the Bible to be wrong, it's best to avoid it. Besides, you can often apply a teaching from Scripture to a situation, even when it doesn't say "Thou shalt not..."
Keep trying to push temptation away and pray for God's help.
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
May God give you the strength to resist the Devil (James 4:7).
Kitten, sorry about the thumbs down; It was an accident. I'd give you a thumbs up for that answer if I could.

I have BARELY talked to him and when I did it was for hw. I dont know what to think really. I think Im just shy around him...thats it...I sometimes write comics to him on teh bus (well I give comics to random people on the bus)

If you include both real-life and fictional icons you increase your chances of getting best answer. | | Hmm...... the first thing I thought up are the homunculi from FMA, but that's too obvious... | Is Magneto from x-men, Really a Supervillain or is he a Superhero? I believed I knew the answer to this question, however having now read the comics, instead of watch the cartoons, and movies, I find that I no longer know the answer to this question?
it seems to be that while most villain's goals are motivated out of greed, power, lust, or just being evil, Magneto goal is to protect and help his people by any means necessary. is this really wrong?
Magneto doesn't usually draw First blood or kill humans for no reason, 90 percent of the people he has hurt or killed in the comics usually had it coming, is this really any different than what the Punisher does? yet the Punisher is labeled a Hero?
or it seems he was looking at a bigger picture like in watchmen since one of his first acts as either a hero or a villain where he did kill Innocent people was wiping out nuclear war. is that really a evil thing to do ?
.also it seems like Magneto would love for nothing more than Professor x's dream to come true, but he doesn't believe it's possible, only a dream and this is the real world and the real world doesn't work like that.
Magneto seems to have a view of if somebody burned down one of my own kind's house, when we have powers and he doesn't let go get this guy and burn his house down in front of him, is him waiting Justice in an unfair world a bad thing? it's seems to me Magneto is just an old guy who got tired of the world's bull crap, and started fighting back? instead of trying to make peace and say everything is fine we should forgive and forget.
the only evil thing a I can find with him is that he wants normal people to say his kind is better than theres and if they can't then stay away from mutants if they want to go about there normal lives in peace.
I KNOW THIS IS A LOT TO READ, IT JUST GOTTEN REALLY HARD TO SAY HE IS A VILLAIN ANYMORE? WHAT DO YOU THINK HE IS A HERO OR A VILLAIN? | It depends how you look at it, really. Magneto believes humans inferior to mutants. Take a read into the House of M, it sums things up about Magneto really well. I think he is a lot like the Punisher. It just depends on how he is portrayed. He wants Mutants to be on top, to be in charge and not be oppressed by the humans. Sometimes and often times he goes about it the wrong way. It's in his biography. After Xavier dies Magneto takes over the school. I think the mistakes he made with his daughter Wanda changed him for the better.
Most of Magneto's actions are fueled by fear, I think. He is afraid that what happened to him (Jews, Holocaust) will happen again to the mutants. Again read Civil War House of M and House of M. It seems to me that you have Magneto down packed. I don't see him as a bad guy. Just a guy who does things not exactly in a good way, in many ways Magneto is exactly like the Punisher.
Hope this helps |
